I think that we might need to be guillotined as a society for how far we’ve let fan fiction come.

Not to say there aren’t good ones, or that the people who write them aren’t talented. After all, where would our world be if it were not for the tuba players? The mouth-breathers? The oddly shaped and the sexually suppressed?
