Millennial humor never developed. 9/11 changed how the world felt comfortable enough to laugh at themselves. The pushing of the digital age, where people went from going out on the weekends and socializing in their work downtime was gone virtually overnight. What was left was a social media bubble that taught no socialization as we knew it prior to 2001. Social media took the humor out of society, and created children that were given status as participants, with no losers. Hard to make fun of people when they cry at the drop of a hat and they start creating labels to make themselves feel important.
